This module emphasises the idea of adapting nature as the design generator a tool for addressing challenges in sustainability issues in built environment. It emphasises the process of studying and understanding nature and the issues of certain geography and mimicking the form, function, systems and process of that nature in generating creative design solutions, products or services that meet the need in the current industry.

Conclusion
The result shows that the pine cones have hygyoscopic properties and structural advantages that can be mimicked to harvest rainwater. This prototype canopy model would be useful especially in hot and humid climate like Malaysia which can serve as shelter as well as rainwater harvesting system at the same time. During rainfalls, it can capture and distribute water to and storage for irrigation use
